Tips to make the most of your time at the gym!

1. Combine Upper and Lower body exercises: Biceps curls with a stationary lunge.

2. Side shuffle in your walk: Do 60 second intervals of sidesteps 5 times during your 30 minute powerwalk.

3. Insert cardio blasts: Instead or resting between sets on the weight machines, do 25 jumping jacks or front kicks.

4. Wear a weighted vest: This will double your burn while doing your cardio workout.

5. Do drop sets: Start off each set with the heaviest amount you can lift for 10-15 reps, then drop the weight by half and do another 10 reps.

6. Bump up your weights: While taking a sculpting class push yourself to use 2-3 more pounds than usual.

Happy Monday!

Sooooo, how did everyone do at the weigh in? I lost 5 pounds and then went home to eat hot wings and guacamole!

FYI - if you're looking to join a gym, Retro Fitness in Moorestown (My gym on Main St.) is waiving their sign up fee for TODAY ONLY. (That's about a $75 savings) Monthly fee is $21.82
